Mighty Minds Africa stands in the gap to provide training opportunities contextualized for African youth ages 14-30, with access to the skills and mentorship necessary to thrive in life, work and business and above all, an inclusive, community-centered approach to personal, intellectual and professional development.

We convene the great minds and talents of the global African diaspora in business, government and technology through the Mighty Minds Africa Business Network, recognizing that we are a proponent of the structural transformation of Africa, because when we all rise, change is inevitable.

It was not until 2018 while teaching Social Entrepreneurship at a program based at Stanford University and Leadership and Innovation at a program based at Columbia University in 2019 to a group of elite and well-intentioned youth who using the design thinking method created projects to solve some of the world’s toughest social problems; homelessness, food waste, plastic pollution, from food insecurity in Malaysia to physical security for street kids in the Favelas of Brazil.

It became clear in these moments that the only difference between the youth in these programs and the youth in Africa is the access to knowledge, support and re-enforcement that they have the power to solve their own problems.
